  • Sessions at Camp Adams start on Sundays and end on Fridays. Staff are on-duty from the late morning on Sundays through the early evening on Fridays, with Friday nights and Saturdays off.

Camp staff have scheduled two-hour breaks for each full day that camp is in session.

  • You do not need to be a member or attendee of a UCC church to come to Camp Adams as a summer camp staff member, volunteer, or camper. People of any faith background (or no faith background!) are welcome.

Camp Adams is owned and operated by the Central Pacific Conference of the United Church of Christ and our camp programs reflect our values. We ask and expect camp staff to respectfully participate in and/or observe the faith-based elements of our camp programming.

To learn more about the Central Pacific Conference of the United Church of Christ, visit the CPCUCC website.

  • While camp functions best when staff are able to be at camp for the entire summer, we recognize that a full summer camp season is a huge time commitment that may be unrealistic for some. We ask that all camp staff plan to attend staff training (June 22-27) and at least 4 out of the 6 weeks of summer camp sessions.

If you would like to work at camp but know you will have extenuating circumstances regarding the camp schedule, please explain in your camp staff application.
