Interested in being a counselor this summer? There are three counselor positions: Camp Session Counselor, Junior Counselor and Counselor in Training! Attend the 2011 Training Weekend. This training is very important for all CIT’s and Junior Counselors.

  • A Camp Session Counselor is 18 years of age or older who serves as primary Counselor to campers.
  • A Junior Counselor is 15 – 17 years of age; has received training; assists the Camp Session Counselor in their duties.
  • A Counselor In Training is 15 – 17 years of age; is ready to receive training and assists the Camp Session Counselor in conducting special duties.

Following a yearly training session, a JC or CIT may be invited to serve at one of the Camp Sessions.  Because of the popularity of the JC and CIT program the Outdoor Ministries Program cannot guarantee each applicant the opportunity to serve.
